    Maintenance Planner

    What you will be doing

    In this position, you will work in the AFEU Maintenance Management team which is a highly skilled and specialized team dedicated tosupport Wärtsilä long term agreement customers in their daily as well as in the long-term operations. Our target is to optimize theinstallation lifecycle costs and overall performances working in strict contact with Products and Operations Experts. The Maintenance Management expertise group is formed by a group of engineers focusing on the planned and unplanned maintenance plan for the installations, with close look to customer needs.

    As Maintenance Planner, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

    Create contract lifetime maintenance plan.

    Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for the assigned contracts and prepare input for annual financial maintenanceplanning.

    Create the sales opportunities in CRM, or if part of contract, in maintenance management tool.

    Act timely that the availability required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources and required maintenance tools formaintenance tasks are at installation as per maintenance plan.

    Monitor site spare part inventory if applicable.

    Monitor that the maintenance tasks are executed within the targeted time and the Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety andEnvironmental Guidelines are followed as well as Customer Site Procedures.

    Communication with Contract Managers and customers in the area of maintenance management

    In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travelapproximately 20%.

    Main Responsibilities.

    As Operational Purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

    • Place purchase orders in accordance with different lead time and safety stock requirement based on purchasing requisition and outline agreement;
    • Make proactive expediting to fulfil the customer's requests;
    • Find the best purchasing solution among the available resources globally to meet urgent demand of internal stakeholders;

    Wärtsilä Technical Services is looking for an Engine Automation Expert, to strengthen the Technical Services team in Trieste. In this position, you will act as an expert in embedded engine controls and automation systems. We offer you an international working environment where you will gain and develop in-depth know-how of control systems for 4-stroke engines including their application in both power plants and marine installations.
    The location for this position is in Trieste, Italy. In accordance with the local hybrid work model, you will be able to work partially remotely.
     
    As a Technical Expert you will focus on these responsibilities:
